Smart Domains Are Here

Wednesday, October 27th, 2010

Does your website have smart domain?

We mean one of those domains that actually helps generate traffic? We see companies register domains all the time. Hey, for about $9 bucks what do you have to lose?

What would you do if someone told you that the domain www.xyz.com would help to get you 50 extra impressions per month?  Next, you hear that the domain www.mycompanyxyz.com you registered only one month ago (and built your web strategy around) would generate about 5.  Are the extra 45 impressions per month more important than the brand recognition of your company-centric domain? Some might argue that 45 clicks just isn’t a big enough deal.  They tell you that they could make up for it with some great organic search optimization and a strong Google Adwords® program. (more…)

Importance Of Incoming Links

Friday, October 15th, 2010

Websites that have more incoming links will generate more traffic.

Websites with a greater number of links ensure a more steady flow of traffic and don’t simply rely on traffic from search engines.

One of the most important benefits of compiling a great number of incoming links for your site is that search engines like to see lots of incoming links. All major search engines factor in the number of incoming links in their algorithms and formulas to determine your sites rank.
